As a Claims Consultant youll play a critical role in our Retail Life Claims team guiding customers through life insurance claims with care expertise and efficiency.
What will you do
- Independently managing a portfolio of life insurance claims endtoend
- Assess analyse calculate and finalise claims payments
- Active engagement of external treating doctors rehabilitation consultants as well as in house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy policy and claims procedures
- Participate in case conferences peer case discussions and instructing third party service providers
Qualifications :
- Diverse backgrounds welcome Nursing and allied health (physiotherapy chiropracting remedial massage or sports injury psychology) or finance legal or accounting experience to deal effectively with financial planners and selfemployed individuals
- Or a Background in Income Protection claims TPD claims Group Life
- Customerfocused mindset Strong communication empathy and decisionmaking skills
- Passion for guiding recovery Experience in rehabilitation returntowork programs or crisis management
- High Attention to detail Ability to navigate complex processes with precision
- Curious and growthfocused A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
