Position Title: Solar EPC Sales Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 13 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify leads for solar EPC projects focusing on commercial industrial or utilityscale clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility understand customer needs and recommend optimal solar PV solutions.
- Develop and present technical and commercial proposals including project scope timelines costs and financing options.
- Negotiate contracts to secure profitable sales agreements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and budgetary requirements.
- Work closely with procurement and construction teams to showcase the companys EPC capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster longterm partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends competitor offerings and identify new business opportunities in the solar EPC market.
- Contribute to developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the solar EPC division.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or Renewable Energy (or a related field).
- 13 years of sales experience preferably in the solar energy sector or related technical industries (e.g. construction building materials).
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology EPC project lifecycles and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in sales tools and CRM software (preferred).
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling solar EPC services to commercial industrial or utilityscale clients.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of solar project financing options.
- Understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes for solar installations.
