Job Description

Position Title: Solar EPC Sales Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 13 Years
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify leads for solar EPC projects focusing on commercial industrial or utilityscale clients.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility understand customer needs and recommend optimal solar PV solutions.
  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals including project scope timelines costs and financing options.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure profitable sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and budgetary requirements.
  • Work closely with procurement and construction teams to showcase the companys EPC capabilities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster longterm partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends competitor offerings and identify new business opportunities in the solar EPC market.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the solar EPC division.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or Renewable Energy (or a related field).
  • 13 years of sales experience preferably in the solar energy sector or related technical industries (e.g. construction building materials).
  • Strong understanding of solar PV technology EPC project lifecycles and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales tools and CRM software (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in selling solar EPC services to commercial industrial or utilityscale clients.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of solar project financing options.
  • Understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes for solar installations.
