We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Compliance to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure that all statutory compliance obligations across our housing stock are met whilst responsible for the Health and Safety of our employees.
The role
Leading a small team of compliance professionals you will shape and deliver a proactive riskbased compliance strategy that supports the organisations wider aims. You will be responsible for all areas of building safety including gas electrical water hygiene asbestos fire safety and lift compliance as well as occupational Health & Safety.
The role will also ensure a strong health and safety culture across the organisation working closely with internal teams contractors and external stakeholders.
About you
We are looking for a compliance professional with relevant professional qualifications (NEBOSHIOSH RICS CIH or equivalent)
Youll have proven experience in a senior compliance or health & safety role within housing property or a related regulated environment and therefore have knowledge of relevant legislation regulations and best practice in building safety and health & safety.
Youll also have experience in managing a range of statutory compliance areas including gas electrical fire asbestos lifting equipment and water hygiene.
A strong communicator with excellent leadership and management skills youll have the ability to build high performing teams and you will be confident in developing and implementing strategies along withinfluencing at a senior level.
