Position Overview:
The Head of Sales will lead the sales operations for our automobile portfolio driving revenue growth strengthening brand positioning and maintaining strategic relationships with global automobile manufacturers. This role requires strong international exposure within the automotive industry and proven expertise in managing high-value premium vehicle sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets across all luxury automobile brands.
- Market Development: Identify and expand market opportunities ensuring the company remains the market leader in the luxury automotive segment.
- International Liaison: Maintain and strengthen relationships with global automobile manufacturers ensuring compliance with brand standards and alignment with international sales strategies.
- Business Expansion: Drive initiatives to introduce new models and brands in alignment with market demand and company objectives.
- Team Management: Lead mentor and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster relationships with high-net-worth clients and corporate customers to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities pricing strategies and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts performance reports and strategic recommendations to the management team.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10 -15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the automotive industry with at least 5 years in senior management handling luxury or premium vehicle brands.
- International Exposure: Must have worked with international automobile companies or in overseas markets with a solid understanding of global automotive sales practices and brand management.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the luxury automotive market customer behavior and high-value vehicle sales processes.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the premium automotive segment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership people management and negotiation skills with the ability to inspire and build high-performing teams.
- Networking Abilities: Established relationships with global automotive manufacturers and familiarity with dealer management best practices.
- Education: A degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field; an MBA will be an added advantage.
