Job Description
Responsibilities
Do you want to be part of a team delivering technologies to the front line of our Nations cyber efforts Peraton is looking for someone who can help deliver key JCWA capabilities and be a key contributor to our team as the Systems Test Engineer.
Provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement specialized studies and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis planning developing test documents developing procedures performing various types of manual and automated software testing including but not limited to unit testing integration testing functional testing and endtoend testing. Shall perform other technical and/or testrelated duties as required. Requires expertise in specialty area.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of overall experience in the functional area. A Bachelors degree in related field required.
- 5 years of software development experience in object oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps microservices and containers
- TS/SCI clearance
- Demonstrated recent and relevant experience in preparing conducting and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g. Jira).
- 3 years of experience testing webbased applications.
- 3 years of experience using Agile Test Driven development
- Practical experience testing and analyzing Restful interfaces and sending/receiving Restful commands.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Agile or SAFe experience
- Experience using Agile Test Driven development for at least four (4) years.
- Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments for at least four (4) years.
- Experience designing developing testing sustaining software in an Agile Software development environment.
- Five (5) years experience with DoD Force Readiness requirements as it pertains to training and development (people assets & infrastructure).
- Five (5) years experience working with DoD COCOM and other Service Cyber Components.
