Diagnostic Imaging Assistant 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

37.5 Hours & Fixed Term
Salary: Up to 25000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in theImaging department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- You work as an integral part of the imaging team providing a high standard of patientcentred care meeting the needs of patients consultants and colleagues.
- You work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver care maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
- You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/ Imaging Assistants standard framework understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.
- You work alongside multidisciplinary team to provide safe and highquality care provision for patients.
- You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
- Experience of customer care including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
- Care Certificate.
- NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
- Maths English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
