Job Description

  • Temporary Full Time (up to 24 months)
  • Clerk Grade 5/6
  • Package up to $120807 pa. Package includes salary range ($97027 pa to $107059 pa) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Office located in Greenacre (minimum 3 days in the office)

About the role:

As a Project Technical Support Officer you will facilitate the cyclical swapout of endoflife IT equipment as part of the ABW Laptops Desktops and Equipment Replacement Project.

You will also provide broadranging Tier 1/2 Desktop Support to Fire and Rescue NSW users troubleshooting and resolving issues of simple to moderate complexity arising from project activities as well as BAU support.

About you:

  • You would have a background in IT support and be proficient with Microsoft Windows
  • Have some experience with service desk software remote desktop applications and using diagnostic tools
  • Ability to participate in oncall or other emergency support arrangements as required.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have a certificate IV in a relevant discipline or equivalent working experience.
  • Must have a class C (car) drivers license.
  • Must be willing to travel.
