We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Lead robotics to join our growing robotics team. You will play a pivotal role to ensure successful project with maintaining required standards and quality. Decisionmaking coaching mentoring developing the teams skills. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for the entire lifecycle of industrial robotics projects from planning and design to implementation and commissioning.
- The individual will manage and review mechanical design work ensuring that all designs are optimized for performance and costefficiency.
- Collaborate with AI/ML specialists to integrate intelligent algorithms into robotic systems and work closely with the electrical engineering team to ensure proper system integration and functionality.
- The Project Lead will also oversee the use of relevant software tools including CAD MATLAB ROS and control system platforms while guiding a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Provide technical leadership training and mentorship to our team.
- Technical coaching guide on technical difficulties raised by team.
- Stay uptodate on the latest advancements in Robotis field
- To conduct training for customer and internal team members.
- Involve in service and maintenance of robots on site.
- Involve in customer communication at the time of delivered at place (DAP) and commissioning so as to ensure successful project and customer satisfaction in house and on site
- Hands over the results of the tests to the Project Manager for final acceptance.
- Explore Smarter cheaper technology and solutions to bring down the cost by alternative ways.
- Handling complete project from start at factory to installation & commissioning on site along with handover to customer.
- Manage a team for technical guidance weekly planning and reporting. Follow process operational flow set rituals standard procedures and documents. To follow and implement robotic safety standards
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge in mechanical design and CAD software with knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and their integration in robotics.
- Basic understanding of sensors actuators control systems and embedded electronics.
- Familiarity with software tools such as ROS MATLAB LabVIEW and programming languages like Python and C.
- Knowledge with IDEs (e.g. Arduino IDE STMCubeIDE VS Code) and PCB design software.
- Localization & navigation algorithms.
- Knowledge of specific libraries for image processing preferably OpenCV.
- Basic experience in software architecting.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with experience in planning scheduling risk management and team coordination.
- Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers.
- Understanding of industrial robotics standards safety protocols and emerging technologies.
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Robotics and Automation Mechatronics or a related field (Masters degree a plus).
Experience: 6 to 10 Years
