About the Role
Joining ourLifestyles (home care support) team you willprovide oneonone support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes with travel between clients and working short split shifts required.
To provide best support you will have experience in providing high intensity daily personal activities (including complex bowel care) and manual handling (including hoist transfers).
To be considered for a role you must be able to commit to a variety of client session times across various suburbs. The typical suburbs and session availability is as follows:
Campbelltown: Sat 10am 2pm
Harrington Park: Fri 8:1510am
Leumeah: Mon 68:30am Tue 7:308pm or 5:457:45pm Wed 68:30am & 7:157:45pm Thu 68:30am & 7:157:45pm and Sun 58pm or 5:307:30pm
Liverpool: Mon 8:3010:30am or 9:3011:30am and Tue 57pm
Ingleburn:Thu 35pm
Rosemeadow: Sat 79am
Note shifts will be paid at a minimum of 2 hours and you will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (including complex bowel care)
- Assist with hoist transfers
- Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
- Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
- Maintain and monitor personcentred plans
- Documenting and progress note keeping
Skills & Experience
- Experience providing High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
- Previous experience support people with disabilityin a home care setting
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willing to complete basic household chores
- Passionate about delivering PersonCentred care
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
