Your role at Baxter
- The position involves managing and promoting the Helion Surgical Integration platform within an assigned geography focusing on surgical professionals such as surgeons nurses and operating room staff.
- The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of OR procedural workflow medical A/V technology and IT systems performance. They will formulate and implement system golive strategies engage with the install base and existing customers effectively resolve system and user challenges and establish an understanding of the portfolios competitive differentiation to drive overall customer satisfaction.
- The individual will also complete extensive prospecting lead generation and lead followup for sales teams schedule customer sales calls and ensure clinical adoption across the entire surgical product portfolio.

What youll be doing
- Provide technical support and training to customers ensuring they have a deep understanding of Helions solutions and benefits. Provide in depth product education for OR Educators Nurse Managers and Circulators developing nursing super users for Helion customers.
- Develop product knowledge for other products in the Baxter surgical portfolio to support clinical needs as necessary.
- Demonstrate a strong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot common A/V related issues and effectively communicate to internal technical support to resolve in a timely manner.
- Effectively support case set ups by understanding clinical needs for various procedures that utilize surgical integration and have an awareness of system requirements for devices that integrate with Helion.
- Engage install base and following up with existing customers for incremental continued education uncover underlying user or system issues and overall support to improve their experience.
- Independently formulate and implement selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to customers by phone and on site.
- Establish an understanding of the portfolios competitive differentiation and communicate this information to clinicians to drive customer satisfaction.
- Complete extensive prospecting lead generation and lead followup for sales teams; assist with set up of product demonstrations for customers as requested.
- Ensure clinical adoption across the product portfolio through product trialing demonstrations and inservicing to improve customers adoption of their portfolio.
- Support site visits product fairs and mock rooms as necessary.
- Record activities and contacts within and assuring that all information remains current and detail is relevant.
- Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it.
What youll bring
- Strong skills within the MS Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint and Word); Salesforce knowledge a plus.
- Ability to travel independently up to 80%. Position will have an assigned geographic territory which may span several states. National travel as needed.
- High School diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Previous sales experience preferred.
- Operating room experience preferred.
- Technical audiovisual experience a plus.
- Knowledge of clinical workflow/clinical language.

At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72000 to $99000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors.
