Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

Today Pfizer Oncology has an industryleading pipeline that includes the combined legacy Pfizer and Seagen portfolio across breast genitourinary (GU) hematologyoncology gastroenterologyoncology and thoracic therapeutic areas.

The US Precision Medicine/Thoracic Franchise is poised for growth with numerous oncology therapies including Sigvotatug Vedotin (SGNB6A) an investigational antibodydrug conjugate under development for the treatment of nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other solid tumors coupled with a strong future thoracic pipeline. This people management leader role provides the opportunity to lead a highly motivated team of individuals during a potential breakthrough product launch that may change the standard of care while providing hope for patients.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motivated and innovative enterprise leader. This person will be required to leverage their breadth and depth of US commercial marketing experience to lead a highly talented team of marketers and work closely with our cross functional partners and the US Precision Medicine Thoracic franchise team to ensure we are executing an integrated strategy that maximizes our patient impact.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Director US Team Lead Sigvotatug Vedotin will report directly to the Franchise Lead Precision Medicine/Thoracic and will be responsible for leading the successful US launch of Sigvotatug Vedotin. This role requires strong leadership collaboration communication and decisionmaking skills change agility and proven track record of success working with multiple stakeholders including the broader franchise team CMO medical market access agency partners and other cross functional cohorts.

  • Directly lead and develop a talented team of director and senior manager level marketers to achieve high performance and maximize potential of the brand.
  • Accountable for leading all US prelaunch and launch activities for the US Sigvotatug Vedotin launch
  • Lead the specific US go to market strategy through collaboration with Global Marketing and Market Access.
  • Lead the Codevelopment in partnership with Global Marketing bestinclass HCP launch content that strategically positions SV to win on behalf of patients in a highly competitive market.
  • Identify strategize plan and execute growth opportunities for the brand
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual strategic and tactical plans that drive the short and longterm HCP and patient strategy based on key customer insights.
  • Continuously own the measurement and impact of HCP marketing initiatives generating key learnings and driving continuous improvement to achieve Brand objectives.
  • Lead all activities associated with brand annual operating plan and latest estimates.
  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical market analytics field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies.
  • Manage brand A&P budget and performance of the AOR and other key partner agencies.
  • Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies with a strong adherence to our Values including compliance.
  • Exhibit high performance values driven approach to develop strategies identify opportunities and manage key issues to achieve commercial objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelors degree and 12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required.
  • 5 years experience managing or leading marketing colleagues at all levels (Manager to Director) and commitment to fostering team engagement team culture and developing people.
  • Demonstrated success with US product launch and lifecycle management preferred.
  • Prior experience with US and/or global product launch and lifecycle management preferred.
  • Experience interfacing/collaborating with field sales medical affairs regulatory and supply.
  • Strong strategic skills ability to make trade off decisions evaluate business opportunities build and sell inbusiness cases.
  • Ability to work independently across senior level stakeholders and demonstrate judgement of what needs to be escalated.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse crossfunctional teams.
  • Demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver results on multiple complex competing projects in a deadlineoriented environment.

  • BA/BS degree required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable
  • Previous US Marketing experience preferred.
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required.

NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Comfort working in a fastpaced environment and making complex decisions quickly.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data and understand trends and mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for congresses and customer engagements.
  • Expected domestic travel 20%
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods using common applications (Outlook Excel PowerPoint).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204700.00 to $341100.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
