Leap29 is excited to present an exciting Land Manager opportunity with an international IPP that has been shaping the global clean energy landscape for over 20 years. With a team of 1000 professionals worldwide they develop build and operate wind hydrogen solar and battery storage projects
As Land Acquisition Manager for the Iberia region you will lead the identification evaluation and acquisition of land across Spain and Portugal for renewable energy projects. Youll manage relationships with landowners local authorities and regulatory stakeholders ensuring projects align with legal technical and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess land for wind solar hydrogen and storage projects
- Negotiate lease or purchase agreements and manage all related documentation
- Navigate permitting processes and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Represent the company in community discussions public hearings and institutional meetings
- Foster strong relationships with landowners government bodies and regulators
- Collaborate closely with internal legal technical and project teams
Key Requirements:
- 10 years in land acquisition ideally within renewable energy (wind solar hydrogen storage)
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in Spain and Portugal
- Proven experience in stakeholder and institutional engagement
- Fluent in Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
- Excellent negotiation communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
