Job Description
- Deliver comprehensive technical support for electrical system design execution and regulatory compliance.
- Examine and verify electrical drawings schematics single-line diagrams (SLDs) and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants TNB Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other relevant authorities on technical issues and approval processes.
- Assist in electrical design development and perform value engineering to enhance system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Compile and submit detailed shop drawings technical materials and as-built records to support project execution.
- Provide technical assistance to site teams for troubleshooting and resolving electrical installation and coordination challenges.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes industry best practices and project-specific requirements.
- Support inspection processes assist with testing and commissioning and contribute to project handover documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and conduct technical evaluations for electrical equipment and systems.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department or Top Management as required.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical system design technical coordination or project engineering.
- Well-versed in LV/MV/ELV systems such as distribution boards electrical cabling lighting UPS and fire alarm systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
- Background in electrical consultancy firm is preferred.
