Purpose of Role
Daemen University invites applications for a fulltime 12month tenuretrack faculty position in the Nursing Department starting 01 September 2025. The 121 program is a dual degree program where students earn both an Associates and Bachelors degree in four years. Years one and four are completed at Daemen University. During years two and three students earn their Associates degree at one of our partner community colleges. Students are able to sit for the NCLEX exam at the end of year three.
The Nursing Depart was notified in March 2020 of their most recent accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Within the Scott Bieler College of Health Professions Daemen offers several different nursing degree tracks. In addition to the 121 program a RNBS program is offered at the undergraduate level. Daemen University offers several graduate degree programs including Nursing Education Nursing Leadership and Health Administration AdultGerontology Primary Care and Acute Care Programs.
Required Qualifications
The minimum qualifications are a Master of Science Degree in Nursing and be actively enrolled in a Doctoral program. The position involves leadership and oversight of the 121 nursing program curriculum including teaching in various formats providing comprehensive academic student advisement and developing program completion plans for students. The role requires collaboration with institution colleagues and healthcare agency leaders to ensure optimal program operation and coordinate student transitions between partner schools.
