Employment Type: FullTime Day Shift

Position Highlights:

• 7on/7off block schedule 12hour shifts

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate care for hospitalized adult patients
• Admit round on and discharge patients in collaboration with specialists and nursing staff
• Respond to rapid responses and collaborate with the emergency department
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation through the hospitals EMR system
• Participate in quality initiatives and hospital committees if desired

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong communication collaboration and clinical decisionmaking skills
• Previous experience as a hospitalist preferred but not required
