Excellent Congestive Heart Failure Specialist Opportunity in Danbury Connecticut (Fairfield County 60 miles from New York City
Nuvance Health is seeking a Congestive Heart Failure Specialist to join our growing Cardiology services in Connecticut. Danbury Hospitals Emergency Department is an accredited Level II Trauma Center a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. Cardiac services at the hospital include Nuclear Cardiology Interventional Cardiology and Arrhythmia Center. Our Cardiac Surgery Program includes TAVR. Norwalk Hospital a Level II Trauma Center is accredited as a Stroke Center and certified to provide Emergency Angioplasty for heart attack.
We are located in suburban Fairfield County Connecticut about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York.
The ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiology and fellowship trained in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Post fellowship training experience preferred.
We offer a highly competitive compensation package including base salary plus incentives and generous allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.
Established in 1885 Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine Ross University American University of the Caribbean and Yale School of Medicine.
Danbury Connecticut located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State is about 60 miles northeast of New York City. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four-season recreational activities. Surrounded by a number of quaint towns the area offers a variety of excellent housing and highly rated public and private school options and universities. Boston New York City New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via car or train.
