Housing Empowering Housing Solutions for All in Wiltshire
Our Housing Solutions team ensures customerscanget housing advice and help if theyre homeless or threatened with homelessness. The aim is to help people in housing need find suitable and affordable housing.
In this crucial role you will provide advice work proactively to prevent or relieve homelessness and assess housing needs for the councils Housing Register. Youllhold a caseload of customers who are homeless or threatened with homelessness andcollaborate with various departments and agencies to fulfil our statutory responsibilities to homeless people. You will give advice toothers in housing need in our challenging housing market.
We are looking for someone who ishighlyempathetic adaptable customer focused and able to work in a traumainformed wayand has knowledge of landlord & tenant allocations and homelessness will be able to communicate complex information in an easily understandable way and draft letters to communicate the councils legal decisions whilst maintaining good working relationships with customers. Candidates with experience in similar environments and transferable skills will be considered.
