Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care)

Salary:Hours per week

Are you an experienced and compassionate leader with a passion for delivering highquality care Our client is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join their specialist residential care home for individuals with autism. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference supporting the Home Manager in maintaining a nurturing inclusive and personcentred environment.

As Deputy Home Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring the home operates efficiently maintaining the highest standards of care. Working closely with the Home Manager you will lead a dedicated team oversee care plans and ensure a supportive empowering atmosphere for residents and staff alike.

What Youll Need

  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above) demonstrating a strong foundation in care practices
  • Proven experience in a senior role within a residential care setting specifically supporting individuals with autism
  • Strong leadership and communication skills fostering a collaborative and compassionate team culture
  • A personcentred approach with a genuine passion for enhancing the wellbeing and independence of individuals with autism
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in residential care ensuring compliance and excellence

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the daytoday operations of the service ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently
  • Lead supervise and guide care staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Oversee and tailor care plans ensuring a personcentred approach that promotes wellbeing and independence
  • Liaise with families external professionals and stakeholders to advocate for the best interests of residents
  • Foster a safe inclusive and nurturing environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported
  • Contribute to staff training development and performance management helping the team reach its full potential
