As Deputy Home Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring the home operates efficiently maintaining the highest standards of care. Working closely with the Home Manager you will lead a dedicated team oversee care plans and ensure a supportive empowering atmosphere for residents and staff alike.
What Youll Need
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above) demonstrating a strong foundation in care practices
- Proven experience in a senior role within a residential care setting specifically supporting individuals with autism
- Strong leadership and communication skills fostering a collaborative and compassionate team culture
- A personcentred approach with a genuine passion for enhancing the wellbeing and independence of individuals with autism
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in residential care ensuring compliance and excellence

Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the daytoday operations of the service ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently
- Lead supervise and guide care staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
- Oversee and tailor care plans ensuring a personcentred approach that promotes wellbeing and independence
- Liaise with families external professionals and stakeholders to advocate for the best interests of residents
- Foster a safe inclusive and nurturing environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported
- Contribute to staff training development and performance management helping the team reach its full potential
