Job Overview:
The Business Strategy Manager will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives that directly impact
WattPower’s growth efficiency and long-term vision. The candidate will work closely with senior
leadership operations and finance teams to define measure and execute core business objectives.
From launching new verticals to driving cost efficiencies and operational excellence this is a high-impact role for professionals who can blend data-driven thinking with ground-level execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organizational Structuring & Strategic Foundations
• Design and implement scalable organizational structures charters and decision-making
processes.
• Work with leadership to build accountability frameworks team operating cadences and
governance systems.
2. Strategic Planning GTM Execution & Annual Budgeting
• Lead or support company-wide strategic planning and annual budgeting processes.
• Own GTM projects: market research competitive analysis pricing strategy channel evaluation
and launch readiness.
• Translate strategy into action through project roadmaps OKRs and business milestones.
3. Business Intelligence & Decision Enablement
• Build dashboards metric frameworks and internal business reviews in collaboration with BI/data
teams.
• Use data to surface opportunities and risks; drive clarity in decision-making through analytics and
structured thinking.
• Support board and investor communications with data-backed insights.
4. Operational Excellence
• Identify inefficiencies and implement systems to enhance execution speed accuracy and
predictability.
• Drive implementation of SOPs OKRs operational reviews and inter-departmental workflows.
• Ensure alignment between strategic priorities budgets and resource allocation.
5. Cross-Functional Program Management
• Lead cross-functional projects across product operations marketing and growth teams.
• Break down complex problems into actionable plans; establish ownership timelines and
measurable outcomes.
6. Special Projects & Internal Incubation
• Take ownership of new initiatives—set up early business lines internal tools or pilots based on
strategic goals.
• Act as an internal entrepreneur to test iterate and scale projects from 0→1.
7. Culture Building & Execution
• Partner with founders and People/HR team to codify and propagate company values.
• Help build rituals communication norms recognition programs and onboarding experiences that
foster culture.
• Lead internal engagement initiatives to enhance employee alignment ownership and morale.
• Serve as a “culture carrier” who ensures strategic execution is deeply aligned with company
mission and values.
Requirements
• 4–7 years in strategy business operations consulting or founder’s office roles.
• Strong experience in GTM planning financial modeling budgeting and cross-functional execution.
• Fluency with data dashboards and decision-making tools (e.g. Excel SQL Looker/Tableau).
• A systems builder who values structure repeatability and operational efficiency.
• A people-first leader who understands that great companies are built on great culture.
• Exceptional communicator and project manager.
• High ownership adaptability and bias toward action.
• Bonus: Previous experience in early-stage startups or high-growth environments.
