Overview
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehab
Lakeway Texas
Physical Therapist Inpatient
PRN
Hours vary: Monday Friday availability
Must be available for two weekend day shifts a month
PRN Rate: $60 /hr
Responsibilities
Evaluates all assigned patients and develops implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patients need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all disciplinespecific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional and patientcentered treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community vocational or academic activities. Serves as an educator of patients families students coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient development of disciplinespecific therapy services and design of program delivery.
Specific Duties:
- Evaluate the patients level of functioning and develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with patient and family goals.
- Participates in discharge planning including patient and family education and recommendation of DME community mobility as able.
- IPR Inpatient rehabilitation Hospital minimum of 2 weekend days per month are required/ 24 shifts per year minimum.
Preferred Skills:
- Acute or IPR experience preferred
- Previous experience with the adult Neuro population
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required..
