- Prepare season and cook food as directed meeting special dietary instructions as required.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Provide direction to lower levelled Cooks as assigned.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree and 2 years of cooking experience OR 5 years of related cooking experience
- Experience and proficiency in both a la carte and production cooking
- Valid food handler certificate
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Selfmotivated
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
