This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Business Controller to bring cost control to the next level in a fastgrowth environment. In this role you will be responsible for planning analysing and reporting of the financial performance of our HR and Business Technology departments. You will also play a key role in proactively setting standards and enhancing the cost control process that can be applied across all Head Office departments.
As a Business Controller you will report directly to the Head of Group Control. You primary focus will be supporting the HR and Business Technology teams in planning and achieving their goals. Moreover you will provide senior management with valuable insights and recommendations to ensure optimal allocation of HR and Business Technology spend.
You are part of the central Control & Analytics team stationed in Amsterdam. Your key responsibilities are:
Act as a solid business partner of the senior management global HR and Business Technology teams with a leading role in the Plan & Control cycle from accurate planning insightful reporting to business cases.
Analyze financial data on OPEX and CAPEX to identify trends variances and opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Develop and maintain new cost control standards and procedures to monitor and manage expenses within our Head Office departments in close cooperation with Financial Control Procurement Project Managers and our Reporting & BI team.
Together with the HR analytical team create next level insights in FTE vacancies and all other HR related KPIs.
Provide support for decision making with executive presentations during Plan & Control cycle for Group Control.
Qualifications :
BRING ALL OF YOU
Masters degree in Business Economics related fields
Approx. 35 years of experience as a Business Controller
Strong analytical and communicating skills.
Work experience within a Retail environment is a pre.
Strong Dutch and English verbal and written language skills are required.
You bring high energy low ego and a healthy dose of humor. Youre a natural collaborator who thrives in an international fastpaced environment.
