Job Description
- Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of the Engineering department as well as maintaining the safety and security of all hotel property equipment.
- Provide guidance to the Engineering team regarding their tasks.
- Control the electricity and energy consumption of the building.
- Operate equipment related to electricity and machinery in the building.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3 preferably in Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or at least 3 years of experience as a Technician Supervisor.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and familiar with hotel systems.
- Able to communicate in English both spoken and written.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team and communicate well with others.
- Possess a boiler machine operation certificate (preferred).
- Possess a generator (genset) operation certificate.
- Train the Trainer certified.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Able to make sound decisions.
- Good knowledge of hotel systems (e.g. Engineering System PABX).
- Capable of operating elevator/lift systems.
- Skilled in using engineering tools and equipment.
