About This Role
- Act as Finance Business Partner including close communication and cooperation with management of International region and subregions and support business decisions
- Develop a strong commercial understanding of the business
- Monitor programs and projects. Identification and monitoring of opportunities and risks.
- Support realizing synergies and harmonizing structures and tools within International Region
- Support the consolidated monthly financial forecast and yearly budget
- Support noncash working Capital (NCWC) reduction and ROCE improvement initiatives
- Provide proactive support with financial and business analytics to the Business; Includes performing general and customized analyses; develop value added KPIs financial and decision modeling and adhoc analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Support complex projects across the business which include financial modeling trend analyses sensitivity analyses profitability analyses pricing
- Support initiatives to ensure regulatory and legal compliance within International Region and comply with CAEs Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P).
- Act as contact persons to our headquarters in Canada and in the USA.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education and Experience)
- Education Requirements
- University Degree in accounting controlling finance
- Experience Requirements
- Five to ten years of relevant experience
- Strong Financial reporting skills.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience in multinational company. Ability to work with different teams globally
- Ability to learn the use of financial software applications (e.g. Oracle)
- IFRS knowledge is a benefit
- Good analytical technical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlines
- Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Travel required from time to time
