The BBC Symphony Orchestra has played a central role at the heart of British musical life for almost 100 years and is one of the leading Orchestras both in the UK and on the international stage.
The BBC SO makes at least a dozen appearances each year at the BBC Proms including the First and Last Nights and attracts the highest broadcast profile of any UK orchestra. As international ambassador for the BBC the Symphony Orchestra undertakes an important programme of international touring.
The BBC SO is looking for a dynamic and engaged Content Assistant working as Orchestra and Tours Assistant to provide business support to the Concerts Management Team and Tours Manager.
The role will also work closely with the musicians particularly during recruitment campaigns and tour preparations. It is a key position within the team with plenty of scope for personal and professional development and progression.
Specific Responsibilities:
