Optometrist Opportunity – Southern California’s Inland Region
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join a thriving practice in Southern California’s inland region. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and ocular health.
- Diagnose treat and manage conditions such as glaucoma cataracts and macular degeneration.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses or specialty contact lenses as needed.
- Educate patients on proper eye care and create personalized treatment plans.
- Comanage patient care by collaborating with other healthcare providers.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in optometry and vision care technology.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using EHR systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid California optometry license
- Strong clinical skills in primary vision care and ocular disease management
- Excellent communication & patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Detailoriented approach to patient care and recordkeeping
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Expertise in pediatric optometry geriatric eye care or specialty contact lenses
- Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus to better serve the local community
- Previous experience in an optical dispensary is beneficial
