Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) provides free legal services on a wide range of civil matters including family law housing access to public benefits eviction prevention farmworkers rights and access to education. Our team works to give our clients the means to escape abuse feed their families maintain their homes and improve their quality of life.
We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to our HR department. Your role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks including creating a succession planning operation manual.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into our organizations mission. As an HR Intern you will play a crucial role in the development of our program/operational manuals. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in assisting with various HRrelated activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
Post update and remove job ads from job boards careers pages and social networks
Prepare HRrelated reports as needed
Assist with coordinating new hire orientation.
Assist with responding to team member inquiries regarding HR policies employee benefits and other HRrelated questions.
Conduct research compile data and implement ideas for various assigned projects.
Work on a special project that culminates in a presentation to our Executive Leadership Team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources Human Resources Management Human Resources or a related field
Available for internship start midlate May 2025
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
Willingness and ability to work as part of a team professionally and collaboratively.
Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently
Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve the confidentiality of information
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
Must have reliable transportation and a valid license.

The internship period is eight weeks with the dates being negotiable. This is a 3day 18 hour a week internship. A $1500 stipend will be provided. Submit a resume statement of interest and writing sample by emailing it to
