The Human Resources Assistant will play a critical role on the HR team by managing administrative tasks and providing support across various HR functions. This includes onboarding and offboarding data entry record-keeping and benefit administration; as well as assisting with administration of policies relating to all phases of human resources activity. Success is measured by adherence to and full adoption of APFM values in all areas of the job.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage HRIS databases and trackers ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Maintain HR filing including personnel files with appropriate naming conventions ensuring accurate and organized records through proper filing retrieval and maintenance.
- Keep records of personnel transactions such as hires promotions transfers performance reviews and terminations.
- Provide employee benefit program support assisting with enrollment changes terminations and billing.
- Review payroll records for accuracy identifying discrepancies and working with the payroll team to resolve them.
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests to the HR team; including listen to review and respond to HR emails voicemails and faxes.
- Assist with onboarding and off-boarding processes respond to employee inquiries and support HR projects as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new hires regarding paperwork submission answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 years of Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Experience with HRIS data entry (ADP) maintaining employee files and project management is preferred.
- Strong technical skills specifically in MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with very high attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship skills; able to build and maintain rapport with co-workers and employees.
- Work with integrity; uphold the companys values.
- Exhibit sound and accurate judgment.

Compensation
The position is an hourly non-exempt position.
- Base Rate: $24.04 per hour; $50000 annual
