Job Description

Este es un puesto de trabajo remoto.

Junior Support Engineer

Location: Remote (Colombia)
Experience Level: 6 months or internship

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Junior Support Engineer to join our technical support team. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or individuals starting their careers in IT.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic technical support through various channels (email phone ticketing systems chat).

Diagnose and troubleshoot common hardware software network or access issues.

Document incidents solutions and procedures in the internal knowledge base.

Escalate unresolved issues following established protocols.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.



Requisitos

Required Skills & Experience:

Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related fields.

Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows Linux or macOS).

Familiarity with office productivity tools and basic networking concepts.

Basic knowledge of programming logic (e.g. conditions loops variables).

Introductory knowledge of databases (e.g. understanding of SQL relational data basic queries).

Nice to have: knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g. Jira Freshdesk Zendesk) or ITIL principles (not mandatory).

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Proactive mindset customer-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
