Job Description

As a part of the Network Services team you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergys Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of Person in Charge of the worksite (PIC) where required (including contractors)
  • Ensure site compliance with safety rules and regulations including the Evoenergy Safety Rules Evoenergy Lifesaving Rules Safe Work Method Statements Evoenergy manuals policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in SWMS procedure JRA. Standards and design reviews and investigations
  • Ensure the delivery of works in a timely and safe manner to Evoenergy design requirements and technical standards and to highest quality standards while minimising customer impact.
  • Other duties within the employees skill competence and training.

  • Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician.
  • High risk license EWP
  • Demonstrated understanding of the operation and maintenance of electricity network infrastructure and field operations and high level knowledge of construction and protection standards.
