Job Description
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Successful Background Check required.
Experience with young children preferred.
Ability to lift up 10 lbs on a regular basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
General knowledge of practices methods and techniques used in early childhood classroom teaching. Ability to work as part of a team. Passion for working with children.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Provide support by assisting with daily functions of the classroom. Facilitate play with young children. Assist with room set up/clean up preparing of classroom materials and daily schedule. Other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or Coordinator.
Hours Per Day:
As needed
May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
