The Tech HR Business Partner team seeks a strategic HR partner to senior leaders who enable gamechanging business results by providing programs and solutions that unleash greatness in our associates. This individual must be comfortable working in a matrix environment to lead initiatives and broaden experience while being agile in deepening business knowledge in vertical functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Tech and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs and broader Tech organization
Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management leadership development to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work)
Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team creating a culture of belonging and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination collaboration and high performance
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or military experience
At least 6 years of client facing experience OR at least 6 years of consulting experience OR a combination
At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Masters degree
Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
8 years of client facing experience or 8 years of consulting experience or a combination
5 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $170800 $194900 for Sr. Manager HR Business PartnerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
