Job Description
We are seeking a Associate Scientist to join Q2Solutions IQVIAs laboratory businessat Durham NC.

Job Summary:
The Associate Scientist will perform routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines while supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency.
What youll be doing:
Perform and document analytical procedures with accuracy and consistency following SOPs and regulatory standards.
Analyze data to verify procedures meet acceptable tolerances escalating issues to senior lab personnel.
Prepare and upload data analysis results to LIMS systems under guidance from senior staff.
Conduct equipment calibration maintenance and handson training for staff in areas of proven competency.
Assist with quality investigations procedural updates and implementation of changes.
Prepare buffers solutions and reagents for laboratory analysis as required.
Monitor inventory and notify staff of supply shortages to ensure operational continuity.
Represent lab teams in crossfunctional projects and collaborate with stakeholders to meet objectives.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelors Degree in a chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science medical laboratory technology or cytotechnology .
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
Working knowledge of laboratory techniques safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Other equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting and close eye work requirements (e.g. typing computer use reading small prints). Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
Proficiency with automation or specialized laboratory equipment and routine calculations (e.g. averages means standard deviations QC metrics).
Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel and ability to collaborate with internal teams seamlessly.

The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including jobrelated qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or parttime).
