Apex Alliance Hotel Management a fast-growing hospitality management company overseeing a dynamic portfolio of international branded and premium hotels is seeking an experienced Group Director of Hotel Operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving service excellence operational consistency and performance across our growing portfolio with a key focus on premium properties and pre-opening success.
What Youll Be Responsible For
Operational Leadership Across the Portfolio
- Lead and support daily operations across all Apex-managed hotels.
- Partner with General Managers to review performance KPIs elevate guest satisfaction and strengthen operational execution.
- Ensure alignment with brand and Apex standards while remaining agile to local market needs.
Premium Hotel Strategy
- Develop and embed elevated operating standards for premium and upper-upscale hotels.
- Champion a service culture defined by personalization emotional intelligence and consistent attention to detail.
- Benchmark performance against global 4*/5* standards and guide teams toward continuous excellence.
Leadership & Development
- Lead a team of General Managers across multiple countries.
- Drive talent development succession planning and HOD capability building.
- Embed a culture of accountability care and innovation.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
- Collaborate with GMs and Finance to manage budgets control costs and maximize operational profitability.
- Contribute operational insight to commercial and business planning strategies.
Pre-Opening Project Support
- Lead operational workstreams for hotel openings ensuring full readiness across staffing SOPs service design and training.
- Act as a key bridge between Development Technical Services Brand and local teams during ramp-up.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Represent Operations in key projects spanning ESG tech implementation HR strategy and safety.
- Maintain strong communication with brand partners and ownership stakeholders.
What Were Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years in a regional or group operational leadership role within hotels.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-property portfolios (including international brands and premium/luxury concepts).
- Pre-opening and brand transition experience is essential.
- Strong command of Rooms and F&B operations; financial acumen across P&L and budgeting.
- Proven ability to coach GMs and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
Qualifications
- Degree in Hospitality Management Business or related field.
- MBA or MSc preferred.
