BENEFITS SPECIALIST HEALTH & WELFARE CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the health and welfare team. This includes coordinating and scheduling wellness fairs and flu shot clinics coordinating various mailing projects including open enrollment and wellness mailings managing all benefit related invoices and resolving Tier 2 Health and Welfare service requests. The position is also responsible for a variety of duties within Oracle such as dependent and event verifications managing pending action items and processing dual year events.
The duties/responsibilities include:
- Assist with the administration of the health and welfare benefits including medical plan prescription drug plan dental plan vision plan life insurance flexible spending short and longterm disability leave and wellness programs.
- Coordinate various mailing projects for health and welfare plans such as Open Enrollment Wellness Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Letters.
- Verify and maintain a wide variety of team member documents required for plan coverage while using the Oracle platform.
- Administrative support for open enrollment and overall health and welfare team.
- Process and reconcile all invoices for health and welfare vendors.
- Monitor and respond to employee benefits email questions resolve Tier 2 Health & Welfare service requests.
- Communicate directly with team members and human resource professionals across the company concerning benefit matters.
- Coordinate schedule and communicate wellness fairs and flu shot clinics working with local HR and vendors on scheduling and setup for Corp Offices and field locations.
- Update maintain and distribute benefit features and other benefit documents to HR teams at field locations to ensure compliant communications.
- Annual dissemination and troubleshoot errors on 1095C forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
- Possess unquestionable ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with welldeveloped written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- A strong pattern of initiative and achievement.
- Manage multiple ongoing tasks in an efficient manner.
- Knowledge or ability to quickly learn a variety of computer software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis in Excel).
- Ability to work successfully both independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred
- System administration experience ideally within the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Knowledge of the companys organizational structure.

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $18.25 $25.50 per hour and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
