We are seeking a skilled and experienced Government Relations Officer to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our organizations relationships with government entities policymakers and key stakeholders in the region.
- Develop and implement effective government relations strategies to support the hotels objectives in Iraq
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials regulatory bodies and other relevant stakeholders
- Prepare briefings reports and presentations for senior management on government affairs and policy matters
- Represent the Hotel at meetings conferences and other events with government officials and industry partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with government agencies and other organizations
- Provide guidance on navigating complex political landscapes and regulatory environments
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations or public affairs preferably in Iraq
- Strong knowledge of Iraqi government structure policies and decisionmaking processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities with experience in policy analysis
