Job Description
Introduction
We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Western Cape.
Role: HVAC Mechanical Engineer
Industry: Building Services / Mechanical Engineering
Level: Intermediate to Senior
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BSc)
- 5 years experience in HVAC design and implementation within the building services sector
- Proficient in HVAC system design sizing and layout for commercial residential or industrial buildings
- Solid knowledge of mechanical codes building regulations and green building standards
- Experience with AutoCAD Revit MEP and HVAC design software (e.g. HAP Carrier E20II)
- Ability to perform load calculations duct and pipe sizing and energy efficiency assessments
- ECSA registration or in progress preferred
- Strong experience with project documentation site inspections and contractor coordination
Personal Attributes:
- Technically strong with a keen eye for detail
- Proactive problemsolver with critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team player with leadership potential
- Passionate about innovative sustainable building design.
