Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Coordinate with the production quality and design teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
Prepare purchase orders follow up on deliveries and maintain proper documentation for all procurement activities.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and explore alternate suppliers to reduce dependency.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure continuous supply of critical items without overstocking.
Conduct vendor audits to ensure adherence to company quality and compliance standards.
Analyse market trends to identify potential suppliers and optimize procurement costs.
Collaborate with accounts and finance teams for timely payment processing and cost control.
Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports on purchase activities vendor performance and cost analysis.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 5 years of experience in procurement or purchase engineering in manufacturing engineering or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes vendor management and material planning.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and material specifications.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Full Time
