Were looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our Technical Publications team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Technical Publications youll be responsible for:
- Translating complex technical information into clear concise and userfriendly documentation tailored for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Creating postsales content and enhance documentation with visuals to support UX and engineering teams
- Collaborating crossfunctionally with subject matter experts (SMEs) from Engineering Field Support Sales Training and Product Marketing teams
- Leading and mentoring fellow technical writers while also supporting documentation project scheduling and management
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of standards style guides and terminology best practices
What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in technical writing
- Bachelors degree in Technical Writing Communications or a related field (certifications in technical writing or communications are also acceptable)
- Proven experience in writing REST API documentation
- Practical knowledge and handson experience with Open API Specification (Swagger) and JSON
- Proficiency in using tools like JIRA and/or Confluence
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experienced in Agile development environments with a proven track record of creating online help documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Background in network and/or cloud with webbased or mobile products
- Handson expertise with HTML5 and CSS
