Senior HR Generalist Opportunity

WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As the Senior HR Generalist youll serve as a key partner to employees and leadership helping drive people strategies that support business success. Your focus will include employee relations talent acquisition compliance and training always with an eye on creating an engaging inclusive workplace.

What Youll Own:

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Be a trusted resource for employees and managers offering guidance support and solutions.

  • Handle employee concerns with care confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Lead investigations and ensure fair outcomes that align with the companys values.

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Partner with hiring teams to develop effective job postings and attract great talent.

  • Manage the full hiring process from sourcing through onboarding while keeping the candidate experience top of mind.

  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and talent pipelines.

Performance & Development

  • Support performance management processes that drive clarity accountability and growth.

  • Facilitate training and coaching sessions on feedback goalsetting and development.

Compliance & HR Systems

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws.

  • Maintain clear uptodate policies and documentation.

  • Support payroll and benefits processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Share insights and collaborate on peoplefocused solutions.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in HR Business or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of HR experience including 2 years in a generalist role.

  • HR certification (PHR SHRMCP) preferred.

  • Experience with ADP systems is a plus.

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred.

  • A solid understanding of HR practices employment law and compliance.

  • Strong communication skills youre approachable clear and professional.

  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

  • High integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.

  • Comfort working in a fastpaced setting with changing priorities.

SCHEDULE & PAY

  • Pay: Competitive based on experience

  • Schedule: Monday Friday standard business hours

  • Location: Onsite near Downtown Grand Rapids
