We are seeking a talented individual to join our NSWPublic Sector claims team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
JLT Public Sector are industry specialists in providing risk protection solutions for Public Sector Entities. Our knowledge of both the insurance and local government sector enabled the development of the largest and most diverse Local Government Mutual schemes in each state. Every Mutual is specifically tailored to meet the specific risk profile and need of Local Government in the areas of Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Property Motor Vehicle Crime Cyber and other risk areas.
A key strength of the Mutual Schemes is that they provide stability and confidence to Local Government regardless of the volatility that traditional insurance markets can often provide.
What can you expect:
In this role you will support the Scheme Managers for the NSW Mutual team by managingthe administration of services for Local Government clients. Additionally you will assist the ACT Public Sector Lead in the management and servicing of the ACT State Government. This involves providing all aspects of administration and technical support in the collation and maintenance of client data addressing coverage issues processing of invoices/closings to clients and insurers and timely production of all policy related documentation.
You will also be able to help drive standardization of processes and procedures. This includes providing legally compliant work to the client and entering accurate information into all Marsh IT Applications enabling the delivery of analytical statistics.
We will count on you to:
- Consistently use the required IT Applications to maintain compliance accuracy and workload contributing to resource allocation and process improvement
- Provide high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support for both the NSW and ACT Public Sector teams
- Support effective working relationships with clients and insurers
- Ensure accurate up to date records on all clients are maintained
- Possess an understanding of all major lines of insurance
What you need to have:
- High level of accuracy/attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads
- Excellent communication and numerical skills and proven track record to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to maintain clear lines of communication with various internal and external stakeholders
- Tier 1 Compliance (Insurance Broking) or Degree qualified is preferred
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
