  • Permanent 30.4 to 38 hours per week Four or Five Days
  • $87138 FTE plus Super plus Not for Profit Salary Packaging
  • Location: this is an onsite role at Wollongong office with travel around the Southern NSW area pool car provided

Your Opportunity

While many people gamble for entertainment a large number of Australians develop gambling habits that negatively impact themselves their families and their communities. The Gamble Aware Program provides free confidential and nonjudgmental support for individuals families and community members who may be concerned about gambling and its effects.

The role of Community Coordinator offers an exciting opportunity to drive community engagement education and coordination for our program at the local level. Based in Southern NSW you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and coordinating impactful activities.

As a Community Coordinator you will have the chance to connect directly with the region both in persontraveling in an MA vehicleand online. Your mission will be to provide essential education raise awareness and offer support to the local community.

In this dynamic position you will also be instrumental in expanding the entry points to our services locally ensuring that those experiencing gambling harm receive the support they need. If you are enthusiastic about fostering positive change and supporting your community this role is perfect for you!

Before starting work with us you will need to undertake a national police history check qualifications and referee checks and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
