Title: Operation Manager

Role Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations and for the effective and successful management of work allocation productivity and quality control and safety measures as established by NAICA. He/ She will carry out supervisory responsibilities for both Resident Workers and Security Guards in accordance with companys policies and procedures.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties:
The Operations Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
- Oversee a team of Resident Workers and Security Guards
- Ensure employees follow NAICAs policies and procedures including but not limited to conflict resolution
- Participate in the development of operations goals and objectives procedures making recommendations for changes to existing standards and procedures
- Responsible for training new and existing employees; planning assigning and directing work in collaboration with Operations/Security Director
- Establishing and implementing team schedules and work tasks for the team
- Establish and maintain supervisory monthly/quarterly progress notes and other related documents of the operations/security team
- Coordinate team meetings and promote positive labor relations
- Maintain ongoing communication with all department supervisors/directors concerning any issues
- Work diplomatically to solve issues/concerns that exist within the department/ in the facility
- Report to Operations/Security and Site Directors about all activities needs/concerns and incidents within the facility
- Work closely with Operations/Security Director and management team to set and/or implement procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Communicate all operating/security procedures and/or issues at department meetings
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent bending lifting reaching extended walking
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to travel to multiple NYC sites as needed.
Work Environment / Schedule Requirements:
- Office setting with regular exposure to computer screens and moderate noise levels.
- May be required to work shifts including evenings or night tours and/or Saturdays Sundays and holidays with holiday pay differential.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required some college degree preferred
- Fire Safety Certification
- Able to obtain and hold New York State Security Guard License
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- NY Valid Driver License if authorized to drive company vehicle
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus
- Proven ability to work collaboratively well with diverse groups
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure
- Strong organizational skills detailoriented and efficient
- Maturity integrity and sound judgment
- Must be able to read speak write and understand English for administrative purposes.
- Must pass drug screening to be appointed.
- This position may be subject to a series of investigations before and after appointment.
