Operations Supervisor HopOn HopOff Sightseeing Tour
DOWNTOWN OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR HOPON HOPOFFSIGHTSEEING TOUR

StartDate:Immediately
WorkHours: Fulltime seasonal. Tuesday through Saturday.
6:00 AM 2:30 PM Tues Wed
8:30 AM 5:00 PM Thurs Fri Sat
Location:Burnaby 3 days Downtown Vancouver 2 days
Wages: $21 per hour plus pooled commission
We call this Supervisory role our HopOn HopOffController because they supervise dispatch direct and monitor the daytodaydelivery of our HopOn HopOff tour route operations. You bring inspiredleadership a guest experience focus adaptability problemsolving skills andthrive in a fastpaced environment. Working closely with operationsreservations mechanics and street sales teams your collaborative andcommunicative approach is paramount to ensure we exceed our guestsexpectations. You help plan prepare and support our HopOn HopOff Drivers. You are a superstar multitasker and we cantwait to meet you!
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
- Working with our Operations office planning coordinating and helping with the daytoday operations of our HopOn HopOffSightseeing tour and tour drivers
- Preparingand supporting drivers for daily tour routes timetables and technologyequipment
- Proactively monitoring and communicating tour changes traffic delays city events and road closures to Drivers and to ensure the guest experience is well managed
- Organizingand maintaining daily bus utilization assigned drivers and passenger counts
- Monitoring radio telephone and onroad provision of service for a quality tour experience
- Working onsite at Canada Place and Gastown during the mornings to support the flow of operations Drivers and Guests for an on time tour performance
- Professionallycommunicating with drivers guest service team sales team mechanics and managersas appropriate
- Completinga daily report of activity efficiencies and issues

- You are calm patient adaptable and can work with multiple diverse people
- Likes to work in the field on your feet and not behind a desk
- You are very organized and detailoriented approach thriving under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- You work equally wellindividually and as part of a team
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal email text and radio) another bonus is a few different languages
- Flexible schedule and able to work evenings weekends andholidays
- Prior customer servicedispatch or supervisory experience is an asset
- Prior experience at asightseeing company is a big bonus
- Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office
- Strong knowledge ofDowntown Vancouver and surrounding areas
