Job Description
Location:Harrisburg PA
Position Type: Hybrid Hours: 7:30 4:00 or 08:00 4:30 telework days not specified
Contract Length: 2 months extension
Position Overview:
Seeking a Network Engineer to assist network and security team with network security server maintenance and support for local area networks metropolitan area networks and private cloud environment.
Required Skills:
2 years of experience with VMware vSphere
3 years of experience in server administration (Windows/VMware)
2 years of experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
2 years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
1 year of experience with Nessus by Tenable
2 years of experience with Cisco networking
1 year of experience in firewall administration
1 year of experience in Linux administration
Duties:
Ability to meet or exceed challenging deadlines while performing daily duties
Build maintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers
Ensure servers are uptodate with current patch levels
Assist in investigation and mitigation of security incidents
Configure maintain and troubleshoot physical switches (Cisco)
Configure maintain and troubleshoot distributed virtual switches (VMware)
Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers (Cradlepoint)
Monitor and manage the teams open backlog of support issues
Work towards meeting departmental and project deadlines
Document and present recommendations for issue and risk remediation to team leads and managers
