Salary: Upto 27500
Working Hours: Fulltime with shift work including evenings weekends and sleepin duties
Number of Sleeps Required: As per rota
Service Users: Children and Young People with Learning Disabilities
Qualifications Required: Diploma Level 4 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Experience in Years Required: Previous experience working with children particularly those with learning disabilities or additional needs is desirable

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be patient empathetic and passionate about working with children with additional needs. You will play a vital role in providing highquality care that promotes the childrens physical emotional and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to children with learning disabilities ensuring their safety dignity and wellbeing.
Assist with personal care tasks including hygiene dressing and feeding as required.
Support children in educational and recreational activities promoting social inclusion.
Develop positive and trusting relationships with the children promoting their emotional development and selfconfidence.
Implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
Work collaboratively with colleagues parents and external professionals.
Assist in maintaining a clean safe and nurturing environment.
Monitor and document the childrens progress behaviours and care requirements.
Support the children in managing their emotions and behaviours through deescalation techniques and positive reinforcement.
Participate in regular team meetings training and development opportunities.
