Our client is one of the largest tour operators in Poland and a part of an international tour group. We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join their team in Warsaw
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing requests for assistance from users via telephone e-mail or other communication channels.
- Resolving technical problems related to the hardware of the computing and servers equipment used.
- Performing problem diagnosis and providing basic troubleshooting guidance.
- Escalating more complex problems to higher levels of support as appropriate.
- Creating and managing user accounts on systems.
- Setting and resetting passwords.
- Installing and updating basic software on users computers.
- Providing usage and update instructions.
- Monitoring systems performance and identifying potential problems.
- Reporting and documenting detected problems.
- Updating and maintaining documentation regarding issues and solutions.
- Logging and tracking all ticketing system entries.
- Collaborating with international colleagues while solving tasks and issues
- Carrying out ad hoc tasks on the basis of instructions from a superior
- Collecting feedback from users and providing suggestions for service improvements
Other tasks & responsibilities
- Systematic maintenance of the necessary documentation in accordance with the companys internal regulations.
- Actively educate himself/herself in his/her assigned area of expertise communication skills and software used in CK.
- Participate as directed by supervisor in meetings business trips and training sessions.
- Comply with the companys internal regulations in particular the Work Rules and Regulations and the regulations intended for his/her work as well as the rules of Occupational Health and Safety according to the employers internal regulations.
- Maintain and develop the goodwill of the company.
- Comply with the principles of personal data protection according to the GDPR and the employers internal regulations.
- Comply with the REWE Group Code of Conduct.
- Managing agreements with telecom/internet providers

Requirements
- Minimum of secondary education min. 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Windows orientation in client-server architecture adv. Knowledge and experience with MS Widnows Server platform
- Knowledge of computer networks (IP address protocol etc.)
- Experience with HW and SW fault detection and resolution knowledge of PC and server components (RAID controllers etc.)
- Orientation in areas related to basic security of IT operations
- Knowledge of MS Office MS Teams and O365
- Responsibility independence reliability teamwork skills system approach
- Communication skills and positive attitude towards users
- Willingness to learn new things
- Spoken and written English (level B1-B2)
- Result-oriented approach
- Willingness to work in a predefined standby mode
- Ability to bridge technical topics between technical and non-technical stakeholders

6+ years of experience in a similar -depth working knowledge of routers, firewalls, -depth knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF. Experience in Firewalls: Checkpoint firewall, Palo Alto. Routers: Working knowledge on Cisco ASR series routers. Switches: Cisco 6509 and Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k. Experience with load balancers (F5 / A10/ NetScaler). Knowledge and hands-on working experience on Cisco ACI, VM NSX, and micro-segmentation. Knowledge of ITIL incidents, requests, changes, processes. Excellent Written & Verbal English Communication Skill. Working experience in multiple large-size Data Center environment. Cisco certification of CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, CCIE (and/or other Cisco certifications) preferred.
