About the Role Global Project Manager Responsibilities 1. Successfully manage the relationship with the project customer and stakeholders perform risk management to minimize project risks. 2. Development of clear roles and responsibilities across project teams. 3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties external teams for the flawless of projects. 4. Ensure resource availability and allocation create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 5. Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. 6. Report and escalate to management as needed manage and control the budget of the projects and the project tracking. 7. Establish right teams (hire / manage and retain talent) and provide a platform for recognition and growth. 8. Must be able to report and manage service management KPIs and commitments. 9. Drive service delivery transitions within defined timelines for new engagement responsibilities as and when necessitated. 10. Must be flexible to accommodate timezones as teams are geographically dispersed. Manage Client Relationship Effective expectation and escalation management. Value Add to Customer (improved availability reduced cost faster turnaroundetc.. Technical Skillsets Must have understanding and experience maintaining managing and monitoring enterprise technology stack. Must be proficient in at least one and have had handson experience in at least two of the below technology areas: Database Technology (Oracle DBA Experience Preferred). Storage & Backup (in area of Database). Networking & Firewall (good to have). Exposure in designing infrastructure solution based server management storage and backup management virtualization. Exposure to infrastructure automation and selfheal technologies in conjunction with ITSM solutions. Ability to advise on enhancement / evaluation of change in the customer production environment. Experience in managing security / preventive maintenance (good to have). Desirable Skills Backup & Storage Technologies. Areas of cloud technology. Education Qualification Relevant certifications in Backup & Storage Technologies and Areas of cloud technology would be nice to have.
