We are seeking an experienced electronic securityinstallationtechnician to join our fastgrowing and dynamic team.
Whatyoullbe doing:
This position will have multiple roles ranging from:project oversight in the field system programming project activation and commissioning installationof field devices andmost importantlyservicing of highend integrated security devices.Someovernighttravel may be.
What you bring to the table:
- Superiorproblem solvingandcommunication skills.
- Workindependently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarizationwith local electronicsecuritycodesand industry standards.
- Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
- Proficient in access control and video surveillance systems with a strong technical understanding.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with internet protocols and essential computer settings.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Diligent in following instructions and company procedures.
- Committed tomaintainingaccurate thorough documentation for all tasks.
- Ability to safelyoperatea company vehicle.
- Willingness to work in a bucket truck.
- Open to feedback and continuously learning with a humble attitude.
- Reliable problemsolver who can adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
- 2 years of experience with installing and maintaining:
- Enterpriselevel access control systems.
- Intrusion detection systems (IDS) both fiber and copper based.
- Enterpriselevel video management systems (IPbasedand analog.
OR
- Technical/electrical background.
Preferredbut Not Required
- Access Control System Vendor Certifications in Software House Genetec ProWatch and/or Lenel.
- Video Management System Vendor Certifications in GenetecOnSSIMaxProand/or Milestone.
- Intrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications inSenstar/Optellios and/or FFT.
- Networking and IT knowledge.
- TWIC Cardholder.
- Experience in computer operating systems network design and implementation.
