Role Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on medical equipment and devices.
- Conduct regular system checks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with medical staff to assess technical needs.
- Assist in the diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
- Provide technical support for medical equipment usage.
- Document maintenance procedures and equipment usage.
- Train and educate staff on equipment functionality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with manufacturers for equipment repairs.
- Monitor and report any irregularities in equipment performance.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and systems.
- Manage emergency response procedures for equipment failures.
- Support clinical staff in the operation of medical devices.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in OT or related field.
- Proven experience as an OT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Understanding of regulatory standards in healthcare.
- Certifications relevant to medical technology preferred.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
- Continuous learning approach to keep up with industry changes.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
